History of FurUrPets

Starting officially in April 2007 with a build up of regular dogwalking jobs - then moving onto petsitting work - FurUrPets is growing slowly but steadily.

I joined Witchstone Kennels, one of the top breeders in the country - as a housesitter, and I regularly care for their wonderful English Toy Terriers - who just keep winning dog shows! All due to Nick and Andy.

During the summer of 2007 - the hectic pace was exhilarating, with boarding dogs, and housesitting.

It has been a wonderful summer and we are hoping the Christmas period will be just as good.

I have had some boarders more than once, one in particular, was a tiny puppy when she first came - and now she is huge!

I have since April, cared for or walked:-

  • a Whippet (who has sadly now passed away due to old age - I will miss her)

  • a Staffordshire Bull Terrier
  • a German Shephard
  • a Minature Schnauzer
  • a Basset Hound
  • a Jack Russell
  • a Yorkshire Terrier
  • many cats from Moggies to a Siamese
  • four very charming Lop Eared Rabbits
  • Canaries
  • Lovebirds
  • The list is growing all the time!
